‘What fills the eye fills the heart’ celtic proverb
Northern Ireland, part of the United Kingdom, is located in the northeastern quadrant of the island of Ireland, on the western edge of continental Europe, often referred to as Atlantic Europe.
The capital of this fascinating land is Belfast, a modern city whose historic center was severely damaged by aerial bombing during the Second World War.
Once renowned for its shipyards—the Titanic was built there—Belfast has lost much of its industrial base. The city, like other major cities in Northern Ireland, such as Londonderry, historically known as Derry, and Armagh, is now graced with parks and orderly residential neighborhoods.

What is most fascinating about this part of the world is the emerald green countryside, fertile and crisscrossed by rivers and lakes, elements that are constantly celebrated in the country’s folk and artistic traditions.
This land, so rich in history, culture, and breathtaking nature, expresses its creativity and flair in the production of high-quality, detailed local products: County Antrim is home to the Bushmills distillery, famous for its whisky, while County Down is the center of Irish linen production.
