Founded in 2008 by visionary George Sinclair, Universal Image Group’s mission is to edit, aggregate and distribute visual content to the global licensing market. Focusing primarily on content that informs and educates the viewer, our visual resource compliments the editorial and commercial market sectors.

UIG has grown to represent more than 100 agency collections and 150 photographers. UIG manages nearly 5 million images and videos across a diverse range of subjects.  Our image partners consistently deliver new and engaging content, and thanks to them the breadth and depth of the UIG collection has grown into the valuable resource it is today.
