“My gaze was vague, confused. They were lost in embraces made of strips of pale, almost white earth. I traveled with light in my eyes, blinded by it. I delicately touched a hypnotic state that transported me elsewhere, to a place where reality did not exist. In this land of immense silences, where sky and earth embrace themselves, there are no borders. You move into infinity, looking into the eyes of the men of the desert. Step by step, until the last frontier.” – Giovanni Mereghetti (translated from Italian)
