There are sports whose uniqueness makes them worthy of discovery and exploration. Two of these are undoubtedly flyboarding in Tignes, which takes place every summer on Lake Tignes in the French Alps, and paragliding over the dunes of Arcachon, also in France.
These are not just sporting events, but true spectacles that combine the beauty of pristine locations with the skill of the athletes, offering unique views and extraordinary photo opportunities!
The Tignes event is a true spectacle of aquatic acrobatics, in which athletes harness the power of the water to soar through the air, creating spirals and figures with their wakes above the emerald, turquoise lake.
Equally impressive are the paragliders who, after takeoff, descend down the milky white slope of the Dunes du Pilat near Arcachon and immediately rise into the air, offering breathtaking views of the Atlantic coast and the Bay of Arcachon.
In the sky, they create a symphony of colors, as if they were exotic birds.
The beauty of these places is always the absolute protagonist and is amplified in these performances, which are not simple spectacles but tributes to corners of earthly paradise, in a summer symphony of respectful coexistence between man and nature, masterfully captured by UIG photographer Giovanni Mereghetti.
