There are particular camera angles in photography that literally enhance the space of an image in such a way as to give the sensation of a multiplied space, deeper and more expansive than it actually appears at first sight.
These measures enhance the space naturally present in an image. A real trompe l’oeil, in photography, not generated but found thanks to the natural reflections usually of water (rivers, lakes, puddles) but also mirrors and skyscrapers, particular buildings performing with their surfaces – they all function by reflecting the space around them.
Beside Natural landscapes one of the most iconic reflecting buildings is certainly the Louvre pyramid in Paris which reflects with such a particular angle the space around. Any photo that uses a reflective surface falls into the category of reflection photography.
